Are all of the products in your store made in the US?
All of the suppliers for Ethical Essentials LA are located in the US, and most of the products are made here as well. Regardless, all of the suppliers go to great lengths to ensure that their materials are ethically sourced. For example, the owner of Rocky Butte Coffee Roasters (James Helms) spends up to a month at a time building personal relationships with the farmers in the South American countries in which he buys. James states, “developing direct relationships with the farmer is how we are able to pay the farmer more than fair trade prices. We are focused on small farms that have historically been unable to access international markets directly.”
Is the only way to place an order through your online store?
Yes, at this time, we do not have a retail location and are online only.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat rate of $3.00. There is free shipping for orders over $35.00.
How do I view my order status?
An email is automatically sent when your order is received and shipped, but if you have an account on ethicalessentialsla.com you can log in at any time to get your tracking information. If you haven’t received an email or if the information is not in your account, please send inquiry to info@ethicalessentialsla.com.
Can I Cancel An Order?
Yes, you can cancel your order until your order has shipped.
When will I receive my order?
Currently orders are being shipped out within 1-2 business days. Curbside pickups can be scheduled within 24 hours of placing the order.
What is your return policy?
All products are carefully hand selected to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. If you aren’t happy and need to return an item, we will gladly send an exchange, or refund the item. Please read through our return policy before purchasing.
You may receive a refund for any unused (and in original packaging with seal) items within 30 days of original purchase date. You will be charged a 10% restocking fee. You will receive a 90% refund via your original form of payment minus the cost of shipping (we will provide the shipping label).
**Food, Drink, Masks, Mask Filters and final sale items are nonrefundable.
Is my credit card information stored safely?
Information is stored by an encrypted 3rd party payment processor; Ethical Essentials L.A. never stores any of your credit information.
