The Hand Held Scrub Brush is multipurpose. In fact, you can use it for dishes, vegetables, or household cleaning. Some customers use it as a body brush to remove dead skin and toxins and improve lymphatic functions.

How to clean the hand held scrub brush

Wood is naturally antimicrobial so generally you should just rinse the brush with water, and store on a dry towel or elevated to allow bristles to drain in between uses. However, if you do need to clean your brushes, clean bristles with vinegar to kill bacteria. Most importantly, never leave submerged in water. In short, it will wear on the wood causing it to crack; it may even cause the natural bristles to fall out.

Sisal Fiber is Eco-Friendly

Twine and rope are traditional uses of Sisal, a natural fully biodegradable fiber. In fact, sisal is a highly renewable resource of energy. Swap the Sisal Fiber Brush Head on your 100% biodegradable Beechwood and Sisal Fiber Dish Brush every six months. It minimally fastens together with a metal wire & metal loop to hang to dry.
Brush Head Replacement
Replacing the Beechwood and Sisal Fiber Dish Brush Head is simple. Pinch the wires together near the head of the brush and slide the small circular metal piece down to remove old brush head. However, you may need pliers the first time you change it. Slide a new brush head on and slide the metal piece back to its original position to hold it tight. Watch this how-to video.

After the Sisal Brush Heads are retired from dishes, demote them to household cleaning before home composting. All products are shipped in recycled paper boxes or with kraft paper or compostable peanuts as padding. Metal parts can be scrap recycled.
