Replacing the Beechwood and Sisal Fiber Dish Brush Head is simple. Pinch the wires together near the head of the brush and slide the small circular metal piece down to remove old brush head. However, you may need pliers the first time you change it. Slide a new brush head on and slide the metal piece back to its original position to hold it tight. Watch this how-to video.
This brush (and my favorite dish soap) clean my dishes every day. I replaced the head after 7 months and it was super easy.
After the Sisal Brush Heads are retired from dishes, demote them to household cleaning before home composting. All products are shipped in recycled paper boxes or with kraft paper or compostable peanuts as padding. Metal parts can be scrap recycled.
Me Mother Earth is a husband and wife team (Alberto and Amanda) local to Las Vegas. They are super into traveling and finding ways to eliminate single-use plastic in their daily lives. Alberto and Amanda founded Me Mother Earth in 2018 with a collapsible straw kit. They don’t claim to be experts, but explain that they “live the lifestyle as best we can and we are learning every day. We try and test out all of our products before we sell them to make sure we only bring the very best quality so they last. We donate to ocean conservation and other environmental organizations too- Let’s make some real change together!”
